HOME OF THE NORFOLKS
Apart from a visit to our bookshop which is located at the bottom of the High Street, there is much to see and do in the medieval town of Arundel. Referred to in the Doomsday Book of 1086 this Saxon town is dominated by the castle which was originally established by Roger de Montgomery in 1067. The latter part of the 16th century saw the Earldom and castle pass into the hands of the Duke of Norfolk whose family, to this day, still reside in the castle. Vying for dominance over the town, is the beautiful Gothic Cathedral built by Henry, the 15th Duke of Norfolk.
History of Our Arundel Shop
This historic 18th century building was acquired by Kim’s in 2009. The building had been home to a local bookshop since the 1960’s. With its narrow stairs and three floors it is a dream come true for book browsers.

I live in Germany, but always make a special effort to stop by at Kim’s Bookshop when visiting Arundel. One of my favourite bookshops in the UK- definitely worth a visit! (or two) Z

I guess you could call this shop cosy as you wander up and down the spiral staircase and browse the shelves looking for a bargain. All tastes catered for in this small but perfectly formed bookshop. C
